The arc left him facing Tang Hao in the Heaven Dou City Great Spirit Arena, where he overwhelmed him with his Flame Phoenix Sword.

• Guang Ling Douluo brought Jiang Qingyu to Spirit Hall, where Qian Daoliu named him Holy Son after learning he was a level 62 Soul Emperor with twin martial souls and six soul rings.
• Jiang Qingyu defeated Bibi Dong in a sparring match, then visited the Icefire Yin-Yang Well with Bibi Dong and Guang Ling Douluo to harvest immortal herbs.
• Jiang Qingyu met the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King beneath the well, accidentally bound them to himself with a master-servant contract, and absorbed their god-level arm bones to reach level seventy.

• Jiang Qingyu recruited Yang Wudi to cooperate on alchemy, and Yang Wudi later joined Spirit Hall after rejecting Clear Sky Sect.
