Inside the Ice Crystal Palace.
Ice Empress called out.
"Xue'er?"
After confirming that no one was in the hall, she turned and headed toward the bedroom.
"Strange... It's broad daylight. Don't tell me those two are still sleeping?"
Muttering to herself, she pushed open the bedroom door, then froze.
Her eyes went wide.
Snow Empress and Ling Xiao were actually still lying asleep on the ice bed.
Ling Xiao's arm rested around Snow Empress's waist, his cheek lightly pressed against her fair chest.
Snow Empress naturally held Ling Xiao in her arms, an incredibly gentle expression on her usually cold face.
Both of them were sleeping soundly, faint smiles at the corners of their lips as though they were having a beautiful dream.
Ice Empress fell silent for a full three seconds.
"What are you two doing? Why didn't you invite me to sleep together?!"
Ice Empress immediately walked over to the ice bed and looked at their utterly content expressions.
She was instantly unhappy.
She had been cultivating in seclusion within her territory, refining her origin day and night, all so she could break through as soon as possible and return to help Xue'er shoulder the burden.
And what happened?
These two were actually sleeping away!
"I don't care, I want in too!"
As she spoke, Ice Empress kicked off her shoes and climbed onto the ice bed in a few quick moves.
Once Ice Empress got up there, she realized there was no room for her at all.
Ling Xiao and Snow Empress were embracing face-to-face, their bodies pressed snugly together.
There was not even a gap between them. Ice Empress had been completely shut out.
