• Ling Xiao and the Far North Soul Beasts defeated the invading Soul Masters, while Du Busi’s self-destruction killed nearly all the remaining humans and Mu En’s soul returned to the Golden Ancient Tree.
• Xuan Zi brought Huo Yuhao and the others back to Shrek as the Sun-Moon Empire and the Holy Spirit Cult assembled to seize the Golden Ancient Tree.
• The Sun-Moon Empire bombarded Shrek Academy, and Xuan Zi was gravely wounded trying to stop the Sun Moon Divine Needle from striking the tree.
• Mu En returned through the Golden Ancient Tree, trapped the invading forces, and sacrificed his spirit to give Shrek’s students time to escape.
• The Holy Spirit Cult took the Golden Ancient Tree, but the Body Sect seized it from them before Di Tian’s Ferocious Beasts intervened and drove the human forces from the battlefield.
• Di Tian told Ling Xiao that Tang San had intervened at Shrek and handed him the Tree of Life, then promised to follow him in helping revive the Soul Beast Clan.
