Finding a Foothold at Fang Immortal Cave

"Spiritual energy?"

Fang Shu's heart stirred.

Spiritual energy capable of forming veins was anything but ordinary. Either an underground spirit mine lay beneath, or spirit plants and other heavenly treasures grew there—or perhaps there was a spirit vein underground!

In short, it could not be missed!

Fang Shu immediately mobilized his Divine Silk, sending it wildly spreading in the direction from which that wisp of spiritual energy flowed.

Hiss, hiss. As the Divine Silk probed onward, the spiritual energy he could sense grew ever richer. At last, he discovered that it flowed along an underground river, passing through the mountain.

The underground river ran swiftly, making it difficult to send the Divine Silk any farther. Just as Fang Shu frowned in thought, his heart suddenly stirred.

Sitting cross-legged atop the mountain, he abruptly raised his eyes toward the direction from which the underground river flowed.

What he looked toward was Venom Hall Valley, situated nearby!

With a thought, Fang Shu immediately understood where the tiny spirit vein he had found underground came from. It must have branched off from the Venom Hall spirit vein.

One had to know that every hall within the Five Viscera Temple occupied land rich in spiritual energy. Even if such land had not existed originally, when a hall was established, they would surely relocate—or even create a spirit vein from nothing—to make it so.

These halls sat within the Five Viscera Temple like formation nodes. Spiritual energy continuously spread outward from where they stood, keeping the spiritual energy within the temple stronger than outside it, and even stronger than at the foot of the mountain.
