The Reason

White Mountain Boros was going to war with Isata. The news swept through the entire Wizard World like a whirlwind.

Whether Isata or White Mountain Boros, both were fairly renowned medium-sized wizard academies in the Wizard World.

White Mountain Boros was a distinctly white wizard academy, with a well-established system for training wizards.

They had an especially large number of wizards, but the training of white wizards leaned more toward research and study.

Though there were wizards specifically responsible for combat, compared to the academy's wizards as a whole, they were still somewhat fewer.

Yet the sheer number of white wizards meant that even this small portion of combat wizards outnumbered Isata's black wizards.

Isata, meanwhile, was a distinctly black wizard organization.

They altered their own bloodlines, kept vast numbers of slaves, and conquered planes as their territories.

Though Isata did not have many black wizards, every one of them was powerful, and each had a great number of servants and retainers.

Such a battle instantly stirred anticipation throughout the entire plane.

The fuse that lit the war was, unexpectedly, merely a very minor issue in the eyes of the wizard sages.

Judging from the declaration of war submitted to the Wizard Throne, White Mountain Boros claimed that Isata had secretly lured and fraudulently recruited students from White Mountain Boros's established recruitment territories for at least three hundred years.

During that time, they had recruited away a large number of apprentices from those places.

To the wizard sages, this was not much of a matter in itself.

But the problem was that the wizards of White Mountain Boros considered it a humiliation.

Of course, that was only the reason on the surface.
