Pushton paid no heed to what the other wizard sages below were thinking.
Instead, he flicked the puppet.
Before long, the puppet twisted one of its joints, producing a crackling sound.
Then, a powerful wisp of consciousness descended into the puppet.
Whoosh!
A faint pressure radiated from the puppet.
In an instant, the expressions of all the other wizard sages in the meeting room changed.
This included Noah, whose face shifted as well.
Because this consciousness was clearly a fragment of Charles's consciousness.
The pressure was slight, but its quality was exceptionally high.
It made even Noah, a fifth-circle wizard, feel his heart tighten. This also proved Charles's strength from another angle.
Pushton nodded slightly and said, "Why haven't you greeted Sage Charles?"
Rustle!
At Pushton's words, all the wizard sages below rose to their feet and said, "Sage Charles!"
After Charles's consciousness descended into the puppet, he saw this scene and nodded faintly. "Sit down, everyone."
Pushton then inquired about the situation on the front lines.
After the meeting ended, Pushton had everyone else leave.
He then looked at Charles and said, "Charles, you have truly given me an enormous surprise."
"I never expected that I gave you only a wisp of Flame Origin, yet you were able to become so powerful. It truly astonishes me."
Charles smiled faintly. "Tower Master, that wisp of Origin was like opening the door to a new world for me."
"It allowed me to ride the momentum and break through to the sixth circle, becoming a sixth-rank Abyss Lord. That is why I have advanced so greatly."
Pushton gave a faint laugh. "You needn't explain. The stronger you are now, the happier I will be."
"Now I want to ask you: are you still willing to keep your promise and help me?"
