The kobold officer frowned at the kobolds carrying the crates of herbs. Their slow pace was dragging down the entire squad.
"Yes, sir!" The scolded kobolds did not dare argue. They forced themselves to lift the herb crates a little higher and quickened their steps.

Clumps of Ashen Mist suddenly engulfed the kobold formation, completely blotting out their vision.
The kobold officer stirred his Black Iron battle aura and drew his weapon. As he swung it, he scattered the Ashen Mist, but the effect was far from obvious.

The kobold officer shouted loudly. At his cry, the kobolds who had been at their wits' end found their target and moved closer to him.
