The demon horde did not choose to besiege him. Instead, from far away, they crossed past his territory and charged straight toward the nearby Divine City Fortress.

This was excellent news for Huo Ling. At the very least, he would not have to abandon his devil title and territory and flee in disgrace.

As for whether Divine City Fortress could withstand the demons' assault, that was entirely outside Huo Ling's considerations.

Although he did not know that quite a few reinforcements had been added behind the fortress, even the original eight Legendaries would be enough to make the demons suffer.

From within his castle, Huo Ling watched the demons pass beyond the borders of his territory. He did not dare make a single move, afraid of drawing down a thunderous strike from the demons.

The demons' immense numbers stretched their marching columns incredibly long.

The Legendary demons at the front had already passed by long ago, yet the demon troops at the rear were still strolling along at a snail's pace.

Amos was in a hurry. His roars constantly rang through the sky, and at times he even descended to the ground, crushing vast numbers of low- and mid-tier demons beneath him.

This sped up the demons' march considerably, but even so, it made little difference. The upper limit of a demon army's marching speed was right there.

After the demons surrounded Divine City Fortress, the devil reinforcement legion behind them slowly caught up as well.

This legion had received further reinforcements. It still had four Legendaries, now commanding over two million devil soldiers.
