With a thunderous roar, the construction of the golem before him was finally complete.

Huo Ling had crafted this golem in the combat form of a Pit Fiend, except it lacked the wings on a Pit Fiend's back.

The rest of the golem's appearance closely resembled that of a Pit Fiend. It wore a heavy suit of armor—or rather, the armor was the golem's outer shell.

The golem was a shield warrior, bearing a sky-high shield in one hand and a heavy longsword in the other.

Its body was covered in densely packed fine lines, with faint streams of magical light flowing along these rune lines.

From up close, one could also see the dense arrays of runes that formed those fine lines.

The golem's core lay within its chest cavity, where its defenses were the most secure.

Moreover, as the core of an earth elemental elder, this golem was also based on one of the earth elemental elder's talents: Elemental Armor.

Huo Ling had modified this talent as well. It could condense not merely earth elemental armor; the current golem could form armor of four elements, each with different defensive capabilities and functions.

Of course, after consuming so many of Huo Ling's resources, this golem was not meant to serve as a mere meat shield. It was also an excellent means of supplementing combat power.

Huo Ling ordered, "Activate Gravity Aura!"

"Executing command! Gravity Aura!" A buzzing sound came from within the golem's core, and then it smashed its shield against the ground.

An earth-yellow halo burst forth, instantly slowing everything around it.

Even Huo Ling, a red dragon whose physical strength was at Legendary Rank Six, found walking somewhat difficult.

Huo Ling tested the effects of the Gravity Aura and was extremely satisfied with his returns.
