After one Half-Orc legendary after another was surrounded and killed,
More and more of Huo Ling's legendary forces were freed up to join new encirclement battlefields.
The situation across the battlefield was rapidly sliding in a direction the Half-Orcs did not want to see.
"Ah!!"
A somewhat weaker Half-Orc shaman was caught by a Titan Golem, its warblade nearly cleaving the shaman in two.
The golems were simply too unfair when dealing with these shamans.
They naturally carried Anti-Magic Auras, and the Titan materials themselves possessed magic resistance. Even if the shamans cast spells, their witchcraft could not bring out even one-tenth of its power when it landed on the golems.
They wanted to flee, but the Titans' Gravity Auras weighed them down so heavily that they could not escape quickly at all.
At times, Huo Ling even took the time to cast spells to weaken the shamans trying to flee.
That left the shamans unable to win in a fight and unable to escape. Once the Anti-Magic Aura enveloped them, they did not even have the chance to cast spells.
This shaman had not died unjustly.
After all, this Titan Golem possessed the strength of a fifth-stage legendary warrior. Even Huo Ling, at that level, might not necessarily have been able to defeat a Titan Golem.
There was no other reason—the Titan Golems were too tough. They were powerful, highly defensive, and capable of restricting spellcasting.
After several legendary beings died in succession, the Half-Orcs knew they could not keep fighting.
The Half-Orcs roared at one another and quickly worked out a retreat plan.
But while the plan was beautiful, reality was painfully gaunt.
Huo Ling also knew that this battle was unlike the battle at Hemmel.
The avatars of the gods had fought almost to the bitter end
