The name sounded vaguely familiar.

"Thanks, Lionel." Locke reached out and pressed a hand onto his friend's shoulder. "You've helped me so much."

He set down his coffee cup. Behind his gold-rimmed glasses, his blue eyes gleamed with almost childlike curiosity, even carrying a hint of eager excitement.
Locke sighed. "Lionel, this isn't some circus performance—"
"Oh, come on, Mr. Farmer." Lionel crossed his arms and slightly raised his chin. "I saw that highway with my own eyes."
"Good God, that damage was nothing a car accident could cause." He paused and lowered his voice. "Not to mention that kid Dio vanished into thin air from the helicopter... Don't think Gray didn't tell me."
