Feeling the worshipful yet reverent gazes of those Heaven-rank warriors below, Ghost Wolf could not help straightening his back even further.

A kingdom lord who usually only looked at Ghost Wolf through his nostrils suddenly became as warm as a friend of many years, as though the two of them had just shared wine and courtesans the previous night. If Ghost Wolf had not clearly remembered this fellow's former disdain for him, he might have thought they had once shared some improper intimacy.
"Ah, Brother Ghost Wolf is so handsome!" A Heaven-rank female mercenary built like a bull spoke in a coy, flower-like voice, making everyone around her vomit all over the ground.
