The Survivor's Last Words?

After defeating Ding Bo, Yue Yang reaped another bountiful harvest.

Though battle beasts such as the weasel, poison-arrow porcupine, centaur chieftain, two-headed troll, golden-horned flame demon, Magma Wyvern, and Hell Nightmare had died, their corpses were still rare fertilizer or dog food. Their energy crystals and demon hearts were even finer spoils. Besides that, he had obtained the top-grade Saint-ranked Deceit Ring, an Energy Belt that could provide an unending stream of energy once worn, and, unexpectedly, a Pugui with Heaven-ranked strength.

Having finished its mournful wailing, the Pugui had nowhere else to go and ultimately chose to follow Yue Yang, who sought revenge for its former master.

Pugui: Level 10 Gold, special-type battle beast, semi-ethereal spiritual life-form. Can levitate through the void. When it spits saliva at a target, it curses the enemy; it can also transfer curses by receiving a target's spit. Special abilities: Hated by Gods and Ghosts, Taking the Blame for Others.

This Pugui was not particularly powerful in combat.

Yet it produced excellent results in actual battle.

Whether cursing enemies or removing curses on behalf of its master, both were highly practical abilities. Used well, they could often turn the world upside down and reverse the course of battle.

Yue Yang did not intend to contract the Pugui himself. Having comprehended the Supreme's Will and possessing the Creation Domain, he could already bring his combat power almost to its peak. Contracting a battle beast that cursed enemies would not help him much. The enemies Yue Yang needed to defeat were at least on the level of the Lionheart King. The Pugui's curse could not weaken Heaven-ranked powerhouses of that level.

If he gave the Pugui to someone else instead, such as Yi Nan or Sickly Beauty, their combat strength would surely rise dramatically.
