Guests Come in Many Kinds

After seeing off the Tyran Queen, Flame and Bi Lu both looked at Yue Yang.

Yue Yang smiled. "Why are you looking at me?"

Bi Lu hesitated for a moment before finally voicing the doubt in her heart. "You're going to the Dark Realm?"

In the minds of those from the Heaven Realm, the Dark Realm had always represented darkness and depravity. It meant irredeemable evil and downfall. Even if Bi Lu was willing to trust the Tyran Queen, she could not fully agree with her claim that "the Dark Realm has washed away its sins and regained its morality." In Bi Lu's eyes, there might be some good people like the Tyran King in the Dark Realm, but far more of them were fallen warriors and thugs who refused to repent even unto death.

Flame shared the same view.

Had what she saw and heard at the Heaven-Piercing Tower not completely shattered the shackles in her former way of thinking, her heart, ever devoted to chivalry and justice, might even have felt resistance.

Yue Yang was not at all surprised by their thoughts. His mindset was completely neutral. No one knew what had happened in the Dark Realm, and no matter what it had become, it would not be strange. Unless they were "gods" possessing absolute will, ordinary people's minds were actually very fragile, changing with their environment. Under certain conditions, it would not be strange for fallen warriors exiled to the Dark Realm to regain their morality... What was more, not everyone exiled to the Dark Realm was a bad person. The ancient era aside, after the Central Divine Temple gained the power of exile, those they exiled were certainly their enemies—and those people were not necessarily bad.

Without investigating, Yue Yang would not define the Dark Realm.
