Late at night.
The house had always been quiet.
But for Morty, tonight was far too agonizing.
After Mr. Meeseeks bought him some medicine, he took a few painkillers, thinking he would be able to fall asleep.

Holding a welding torch, Grandpa was welding something. Hearing movement behind him, he put down the torch and turned around.
"Morty? Why aren't you asleep at this hour?"
"I can't sleep. I feel kind of awful. I just can't fall asleep."
