Rogge scratched his head awkwardly, a faint blush rising to his face.
"Sorry, Lady Tsunade. I didn't mean to. I just needed to talk to you about something."
Tsunade glared at Rogge.
"You brat, you're always so reckless. I'll let this slide for now, but I'll settle the score with you later."
Rogge hurriedly nodded.
"Yes, Lady Tsunade, I know I was wrong. I'll head out first and talk to you after you're done in the hot spring."
With that, he swiftly used the Flying Thunder God Technique and left.
After Rogge left, Tsunade and Mikoto Uchiha both let out sighs of relief.
Tsunade sighed helplessly.
"That brat is such a headache."
Blushing, Mikoto Uchiha said, "Lady Tsunade, Rogge was far too rash. But..."
A trace of shyness and budding affection flashed through her eyes. "He is rather handsome."
After a while, Tsunade and Mikoto Uchiha got dressed and came outside the bathhouse.
Rogge stood before Tsunade with an awkward expression. Even his usually cool face now carried a hint of unease.
Just then, Hizashi Hyuga walked over.
As he looked at Rogge, an inexplicable urge to provoke him rose within his heart.
"Hmph, Rogge, I heard you're quite strong. But from what I can see, you're nothing special."
Rogge frowned slightly, his gaze instantly turning sharp.
"You want to test that?"
Hizashi Hyuga was startled by Rogge's gaze, but quickly regained his arrogance.
"Bring it on. Who's afraid of who?"
Without another word, Rogge flashed forward and instantly appeared before Hizashi Hyuga.
He moved so fast that Hizashi Hyuga had no time to react.
Rogge threw a punch, and the sheer force sent Hizashi Hyuga flying.
Hizashi Hyuga crashed heavily to the ground, his face full of shock. He had never expected Rogge to be so powerful.
Seeing this, Mikoto Uchiha felt both embarrassed and annoyed by Rogge's earlier recklessness, yet she was also drawn to his overwhelming strength.
Tsunade frowned.
"Enough. Stop fooling around. We have a mission to carry out."
"Although this is only a B-rank mission, we can't let our guard down. Our task is to escort a batch of important medical supplies to a small town at the border. These supplies are vital to the people there who are battling disease."
Rogge listened carefully to the mission details, already considering every possible situation they might encounter.
"Lady Tsunade, besides us, will Mikoto Uchiha and Hizashi Hyuga also be joining the mission?"
Tsunade glanced at Rogge and began introducing the other two teammates.
"Mikoto Uchiha possesses exceptional genjutsu abilities and can confuse enemies at critical moments. Hizashi Hyuga excels in taijutsu and Byakugan reconnaissance, allowing him to spot potential danger in advance. During the mission, we must make full use of our individual strengths and ensure the supplies are delivered safely."
"This is Team Eight's first mission since its formation. We have to complete it successfully!"
Rogge silently committed Tsunade's words to memory.
He knew this was not only a mission, but also an opportunity to build rapport with his teammates.
"Alright, since the mission is clear, when do we leave?" Rogge asked.
Tsunade looked at the sky and said, "Tomorrow morning. We'll gather at the village entrance. Use this time to prepare, check your equipment and ninja tools, and make sure nothing goes wrong."
Rogge nodded, turned, and left to prepare for the next day's mission.
After returning home, he carefully inspected his ninja tools to ensure every one of them was in optimal condition.
At the same time, he continuously ran through all kinds of possible scenarios in his mind, considering how to deal with them.
These are troubled times. Lady Tsunade suddenly received a mission that requires her to leave the village, and she's even taking all of Team Eight with her...
Was this Hiruzen Sarutobi's decision?
What a hassle. I just hope everything goes smoothly.
Meanwhile, Mikoto Uchiha lay in bed, tossing and turning.
Rogge's figure kept appearing in her mind: that reckless yet handsome and powerful man.
She was both embarrassed and annoyed by what Rogge had done earlier, but she could not help being drawn to his charm.
She did not know how she should face Rogge during this mission.
Meanwhile, Hizashi Hyuga sat in his room, rubbing the spot Rogge had struck while silently regretting his actions.
He had not expected Rogge to be so powerful. His provocation had truly been far too rash.
But he was unwilling to remain suppressed by Rogge like this. He decided to perform well during this mission and regain his dignity.
The next morning, sunlight spilled over the entrance of the Leaf Village.
Rogge arrived at the gathering point early. He wore a neat ninja outfit, his expression calm.
Before long, Tsunade, Mikoto Uchiha, and Hizashi Hyuga arrived one after another.
Tsunade looked at the energetic group and nodded.
"Good, everyone is on time. We must work together on this mission and ensure the medical supplies are delivered safely. Move out!"
The group set off toward the border town.
Along the way, Hizashi Hyuga periodically used his Byakugan to observe their surroundings, remaining alert for any potential threats.
Mikoto Uchiha seemed somewhat nervous. From time to time, she looked toward Rogge, as if seeking a sense of security.
Rogge remained calm, constantly watching the surrounding movements and preparing for any sudden developments.
After traveling for some time, they arrived at a dense forest.
Within that dense forest, the tranquil atmosphere was instantly shattered.
Without warning, four Hidden Stone Village ninja appeared like ghosts, and more than a dozen kunai came whistling through the air with piercing force.
Tsunade reacted with extraordinary speed. Her body flashed aside, and like an agile leopard, she easily avoided the kunai aimed at her.
Rogge's eyes narrowed. With perception and speed beyond that of ordinary people, he instantly moved to a safe position.
Mikoto Uchiha and Hizashi Hyuga each used their movement techniques as well, nimbly dodging the sudden attack.
However, the people in the merchant caravan did not possess the skills of ninja.
The fat merchant had been sitting leisurely in his carriage when the sudden kunai attack sent him into a panic.
His eyes widened as he tried to dodge, but he had no time to react effectively.
A kunai pierced his neck with deadly accuracy, and blood instantly gushed out.
The merchant stared wide-eyed, his face full of disbelief as his body slowly collapsed. He lost his life on the spot.
The merchant's attendants were terrified out of their wits by the sight.
They screamed in horror. Some collapsed onto the ground, while others instinctively fled in every direction.
But they quickly realized there was nowhere to run. Terrified, they crouched where they were, trembling as they begged Tsunade's group for help.
"Help! Lord Ninja, save us!" The attendants' voices were filled with fear and despair.
Their eyes were full of pleading, as though Tsunade and the others were their only lifeline.
Tsunade frowned at the chaotic scene.
She knew she bore the responsibility of protecting these people and could not allow them to suffer any further harm.
Rogge clenched his fists tightly, anger rising within him.
The sudden ambush by these Hidden Stone Village ninja filled him with fury.
At that moment, several more kunai flew in from different directions.
Rogge flashed forward and knocked the kunai away at incredible speed.
He turned to Tsunade and said, "Lady Tsunade, the enemy is hidden in the shadows. We can't just sit here and take it."
Tsunade nodded. "Hizashi, use your Byakugan to find their positions. Mikoto, be ready to provide support. Rogge, come with me."
Hizashi Hyuga focused his attention. His Byakugan vision pierced through the forest, and he quickly locked onto the positions of several hidden enemies.
"They're over there!" He pointed in one direction.
"Hizashi and Mikoto, stay here and protect the caravan. Don't let the enemy lure us away from our objective."
Without hesitation, Tsunade and Rogge charged in that direction.
They swiftly weaved through the forest and soon spotted several Hidden Stone Village ninja.
Tsunade shouted, "You dare attack us? Today, you'll pay the price."
Rogge did not waste words. He charged straight at the enemy and began fighting.
