Rogge returned to his room, quickly removed his disguise, and restored his body to its original form.
A trace of barely perceptible excitement flashed through his eyes, but it soon returned to calm.
He took a deep breath and tried to make his expression look natural and anxious.
Then, putting on an anxious look, he ran to Mikoto Uchiha's room.
Mikoto Uchiha had long since been awakened as well. She stood at the door of her room, her eyes full of terror.
When she saw Rogge running over, an inexplicable sense of security rose within her.
"Mikoto, what happened? I heard some commotion," Rogge asked urgently, his voice full of concern.
Mikoto Uchiha trembled slightly, her face somewhat pale.
"I don't know either. I was woken up and was just about to go take a look."
So the two of them went together to check Hizashi Hyuga's room.
The moment they pushed open the door, both of them were startled by the gruesome sight of Hizashi Hyuga's severed corpse.
The room was filled with blood, and the pungent stench made them nauseous.
Mikoto Uchiha's eyes widened in terror, and her body began trembling uncontrollably.
"Ah!" Mikoto Uchiha screamed in fright, then quickly shrank into Rogge's arms.
Rogge took the opportunity to hold her and comforted her softly. "Don't be afraid, Mikoto. I'm here."
His voice was very gentle, making Mikoto Uchiha's delicate body tremble.
Mikoto Uchiha clung tightly to Rogge's embrace, her heart beating rapidly.
Rogge's arms felt so warm that they temporarily made her forget the horrifying sight before her.
"Who did this? It's too cruel," Mikoto Uchiha said tremblingly.
Rogge frowned, a trace of confusion flashing through his eyes.
"I don't know, but we have to find the murderer and avenge Hizashi." His tone was full of anger.
At this moment, Tsunade returned as well.
Her face was gloomy, and her eyes burned with fury.
She looked at Rogge and Mikoto Uchiha, her heart full of doubts.
"Why are you here?" Tsunade asked.
Rogge hurriedly answered, "We heard some commotion and came to take a look. We didn't expect..."
Looking at Hizashi Hyuga's corpse, Tsunade was filled with self-reproach.
She felt that she had failed to protect her students and allowed them to fall into danger.
"We have to find the murderer. We can't let Hizashi die for nothing," Tsunade said firmly.
Rogge and Mikoto Uchiha both nodded. They knew this matter would not end just like that.
They had to find the murderer and seek justice for Hizashi Hyuga.
Tsunade led Rogge and Mikoto Uchiha back to Konoha Hidden Village overnight.
Along the way, none of the three spoke. The atmosphere was heavy and oppressive.
Moonlight fell upon them, yet it could not dispel the gloom in their hearts.
After returning to Konoha Hidden Village, they first went to the mission administration office to submit their mission.
When the staff saw their exhausted faces and grave expressions, they realized that something unusual had happened.
However, they did not ask questions and simply completed the mission handover procedures quickly.
Then, without hesitation, Tsunade took Rogge and Mikoto Uchiha to the Hokage Building to report the situation to the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi.
The Hokage Building was brightly lit, as though it had been waiting for their arrival.
When they entered the Hokage's Office, Hiruzen Sarutobi was sitting behind his desk with a grave expression.
Seeing Tsunade and the others enter, he slightly raised his head, concern showing in his eyes.
"Tsunade, what happened? Why did you return so quickly?" Hiruzen Sarutobi asked.
Tsunade took a deep breath, then gave Hiruzen Sarutobi a detailed report of what had happened at the hot spring inn.
She described Hizashi Hyuga's condition after death, as well as their complete lack of knowledge about the murderer.
As Hiruzen Sarutobi listened to Tsunade's report, his brows furrowed tightly.
After pondering for a moment, he said, "This is a serious matter. We must find the murderer as soon as possible. Tsunade, go back and rest first. I'll arrange for people to investigate this."
Tsunade nodded and left the Hokage Building with Rogge and Mikoto Uchiha.
Their hearts were still heavy. They did not know who the murderer was, nor did they know what would happen next.
Back at their residence, Rogge and Mikoto Uchiha were both exhausted.
They lay on their beds, the gruesome sight of Hizashi Hyuga constantly resurfacing in their minds.
Though Rogge felt a trace of excitement, he also knew that no one could discover this matter.
He had to remain calm and wait for things to develop.
Tsunade could not sleep either. She sat by the window, gazing into the night, her heart full of self-reproach.
At the same time, she was somewhat suspicious of Rogge.
Tsunade sat by the window all night, guilt and suspicion constantly intertwining in her heart.
When the first rays of sunlight fell at dawn, she decided to visit Rogge's home and test whether he had anything to do with Hizashi Hyuga's death.
Tsunade arrived at Rogge's door and knocked lightly.
Rogge opened the door. When he saw Tsunade standing outside, a trace of surprise appeared on his face.
"Teacher Tsunade, why are you looking for me so early? Is something wrong?" Rogge asked. His expression was natural, without the slightest hint of panic.
Tsunade looked at Rogge, a trace of doubt flashing through her eyes.
"Rogge, I want to ask you again about what happened last night. Do you really know nothing?"
Rogge frowned slightly, showing a hint of confusion.
"Teacher Tsunade, I really don't know. Like you, I also want to find the murderer and avenge Hizashi."
Tsunade fell silent for a moment and continued observing Rogge's expression.
But Rogge handled himself well and revealed no flaws.
Suddenly, the corners of Rogge's lips curled upward into a mischievous smile.
"Teacher Tsunade, you care about me so much. Do you have some special feelings for me?"
Tsunade was caught off guard by Rogge's words, and a blush rose to her face.
"You brat, what nonsense are you talking about?"
But Rogge did not stop and continued teasing Tsunade.
"Teacher Tsunade, you're so beautiful. How could I not be moved?"
The atmosphere gradually turned ambiguous. Rogge slowly moved closer to Tsunade, and her heartbeat involuntarily sped up.
Rogge reached out, held Tsunade, and began kissing her face and neck.
Tsunade wanted to push Rogge away, but her body seemed somewhat unwilling to obey her.
Her heart was full of conflict. On one hand, she felt this was wrong, but on the other, she could not resist Rogge's charm.
Just then, a sudden sound of footsteps came from outside the door.
Tsunade instantly came to her senses and forcefully pushed Rogge away.
"Rogge, don't go too far," Tsunade said angrily.
Yet Rogge continued looking at Tsunade with a grin. "Teacher Tsunade, don't be angry. I just like you too much."
A knock sounded at the door, followed by Kushina Uzumaki's voice from outside. "Rogge, open the door!"
Kushina Uzumaki had just learned a special ninjutsu, so she had planned to find Rogge first thing in the morning and show it off.
She wanted Rogge to see her in a new light.
Looking guilty, Tsunade panicked and actually hid inside the wardrobe!
When Rogge heard Kushina Uzumaki's voice, his heart tightened slightly, but he quickly regained his composure.
He adjusted his clothes before opening the door.
"Kushina, why are you looking for me so early?" Rogge asked with a smile.
Kushina Uzumaki was brimming with excitement. "Rogge, I learned an incredibly powerful ninjutsu. Come take a look!"
As she spoke, she impatiently wanted to show off her new ninjutsu.
Rogge smiled helplessly. "All right, show me."
Kushina Uzumaki performed the ninjutsu she had just learned.
A Rasengan appeared in her hand!
Rogge could not help showing a surprised expression.
"Not bad, Kushina. This ninjutsu is really powerful," Rogge praised.
Kushina Uzumaki smiled smugly. "Of course. I worked very hard on it. I'm planning to call this ninjutsu Rasengan!"
"Not bad, that's a good name!" Rogge nodded in agreement.
As they talked, Tsunade, hiding in the wardrobe, was extremely nervous.
She was worried Kushina Uzumaki would discover that she was here. That would be far too awkward.
After chatting with Rogge for a while, Kushina Uzumaki suddenly said, "Rogge, don't you think you seem a little strange today?"
Rogge's heart skipped a beat. "What's strange about me?"
Kushina Uzumaki frowned as she thought about it. "I can't explain it. You just feel a little different."
Rogge smiled. "You're overthinking it."
Kushina Uzumaki shook her head. "Maybe."
Suddenly, Kushina Uzumaki's gaze narrowed slightly as she turned around again.
Kushina Uzumaki, who possessed Kagura Mind's Eye, had sensed someone hiding in the wardrobe.
Her expression instantly became wary, as she thought an enemy had infiltrated Rogge's room.
"Rogge, be careful! There's something in your wardrobe," Kushina said in a low voice as she slowly approached it.
Rogge inwardly cried out in alarm, but it was already too late to stop her.
Kushina opened the wardrobe on her own initiative.
Tsunade appeared before them with a face full of shock.
Kushina's eyes widened, and for a moment, she did not know what to say.
Tsunade awkwardly stepped out of the wardrobe, her face slightly red.
"Kushina, why are you..."
Kushina opened her mouth. "Teacher Tsunade, why are you here?"
Rogge was somewhat flustered as well, but he quickly calmed down.
"Kushina, it's a misunderstanding. Teacher Tsunade came to discuss something with me. When she heard you coming, she was afraid it would cause unnecessary trouble, so she hid."
Kushina looked at them suspiciously. "Really?"
Tsunade hurriedly nodded. "Of course it's true. Kushina, don't misunderstand."
Kushina pursed her lips. "Fine, if that's the case, I won't disturb you any longer. But don't act so strangely next time."
With that, Kushina turned and left the room.
On the way back, Kushina looked despondent and absent-minded.
Rogge... what exactly was his relationship with Teacher Tsunade?
Could it be a teacher-student romance?
Kushina did not have the courage to ask. It was too awkward. Right now, she only wanted to escape and be alone for a while.
Only Rogge and Tsunade remained in the room, and the atmosphere became even more awkward.
Tsunade glared fiercely at Rogge. "It's all your fault. What do we do now?"
The corners of Rogge's lips curled upward. "What's so bad about it? Does Teacher Tsunade not want others to know about our relationship?"
Tsunade's face turned red again. "Don't talk nonsense. We... we don't have any relationship."
Rogge moved closer to Tsunade. "Really? You weren't saying that just now."
Tsunade pushed Rogge away. "Stop messing around. We should think about how to find Hizashi Hyuga's murderer."
Rogge put away his smile and nodded. "All right. But I think this is rather troublesome. The murderer is very cunning and left no clues behind."
Tsunade frowned. "No matter how troublesome it is, we have to find the murderer. We can't let Hizashi die for nothing."
Just then, another uninvited guest arrived.
It was Hiashi Hyuga, who had heard news of Hizashi Hyuga's death and rushed over to question Rogge.
He was Hizashi Hyuga's biological older brother and also the young clan leader of the Hyuga Clan!
