Background / History

Luo Qing was an orphan adopted in Aolai City by Mrs. Mary after transmigrating from 21st-century Blue Star. His death in his previous life came while saving someone from an oncoming truck. Mary named and raised him as her grandson. 1 22

On his sixth birthday, Luo Qing awakened the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, a dragon-type martial soul with innate full soul power. Though Spirit Pagoda Master He Ran attempted to recruit him, Luo Qing chose normal schooling over joining the organization, distrusting the Spirit Pagoda’s internal conduct and preferring to understand his own abilities first. 1

With He Ran’s help, Luo Qing perfectly fused with the experimental spirit soul Ancient White Stone at no cost. This granted him the passive first soul skill, True Light, which he deliberately concealed due to its extraordinary cultivation value. 2 3

At Red Mountain Elementary School, he met the female Tang Wulin and initially attempted to avoid her. Her persistent attachment eventually led him to accept her as his “little brother,” protect her from bullies, and become a central source of encouragement in her life. 3 4 6

Luo Qing also helped Tang Wulin and Na’er confront child traffickers. Na’er later departed with Di Tian, leaving Luo Qing a sapphire storage necklace and identifying him as an otherworldly, noble dragon who could become an ally against the God Realm. 4 6

After graduating from Red Mountain School, Luo Qing entered Eastsea Academy with Tang Wulin. He supported her complaint against Mu Qian, sparred with Xie Xie, trained under Wu Zhangkong, and became one of the core students of Zero Class. 11 13 16 30

During the class promotion tournament, Luo Qing chose to serve as the final arena defender rather than join a team, believing his presence would prevent his classmates from developing independently. He defeated Tang Wulin, Gu Yue, and Xie Xie after fighting them at full strength. 22 26 27 28

Appearance

Luo Qing is described as a handsome young boy with green eyes. His martial soul and soul skills give him an aura of warm, pure light that others find unusually compelling. 7 12

  • Green eyes. 12
  • Emits a mint-like scent mixed with a warm, gentle radiance. 3
  • Manifests broad dragon wings formed from light when using Tyrant’s Wings. 7
  • Can be covered by a faint defensive membrane of light. 7

Personality

Luo Qing is independent, calculating, and unusually mature for his age. He refuses opportunities that would compromise his freedom, such as He Ran’s recruitment offer, and actively considers the long-term consequences of aligning with powerful factions. 1

Despite his ambition to grow strong and oppose Tang San’s plans, he is fundamentally protective and compassionate. He repeatedly intervenes for Tang Wulin, Na’er, Xie Xie, Gu Yue, and strangers in danger. He is reluctant to strike his teacher seriously because he does not regard Wu Zhangkong as an enemy. 4 13 22 32 33

He is also strategic in combat and survival situations, prioritizing information, positioning, and his teammates’ safety. 34 35
