Background

Battle Academy was jointly established by Glory University and the continental government several thousand years ago to cultivate a new generation of combat-type Specter Ability Users. It has consistently ranked among Glory University's top two specialized academies. 37

Although Specter spaces are said to appear only a few times each year on academy grounds, this is attributed to the concentration of Specter Ability Users on campus: any descending space is rapidly eliminated. 37

Campus

Battle Academy occupies a large flat basin in Glory University's northern second-ring district. Tunnel tracks approach from every direction, while broad roads and aircraft traffic connect the academy to the wider university. It takes roughly half an hour to reach from the central first ring by maglev bus. 37

Story Role

Recruitment of Xin Yang

Before Xin Yang enrolled at Glory University, Zhu Ende personally invited him to join Battle Academy's Specter Technique Combat Division after learning that he had won the Wu City student championship. 26

After the freshman assessment, Xin Yang arrived at Battle Academy and declined approaches from other program instructors, stating that he was already Zhu Ende's student. 37

Contest for Xin Yang

Xin Yang's unprecedented freshman-assessment results—999 performance points and a perfect Ghost Kill Score—made him the target of competing academies throughout Glory University. 38 39

Battle Academy sealed the conflict within the Eerie Domain at Mingyuan Building. More than ten thousand teachers eventually fought over Xin Yang's placement under the old rule that, before formal enrollment, academies could compete by strength for promising students. 40

After the principal's avatar halted the mass brawl, the academy deans and vice deans fought to settle Xin Yang's assignment. Ge Shimin, revealing half-step World-Ending strength, remained the final combatant standing and secured Xin Yang for Battle Academy. 42 43

Xin Yang's Placement

Three days after the struggle, Xin Yang formally entered the Specter Technique Combat Division with a top-student slot and substantial resources. 43
