According to the plan, Xie Hongmei was supposed to make Wang Tianyu drink the drug they had prepared earlier.

It was a potent drug that could make someone fall asleep rapidly. Colorless and odorless, it was difficult to detect.

Yet Wang Tianyu looked full of life right now. There was not the slightest sign that he was about to pass out.

"Just as I thought. You really were plotting against me. Looks like I can get to the bottom of this today."

Wang Tianyu smiled. Faced with the encirclement of three people, he felt not nervousness, but excitement.

Seeing the situation now, Wang Tianyu knew he was close to uncovering the truth.

Xie Hongmei did not seem to be the person behind the scenes, but she definitely knew who was.

Without a trace of fear, Wang Tianyu took the initiative and attacked the three bodyguards.

The remaining two bodyguards glanced at the burly bodyguard, then both closed in on Wang Tianyu.

Seeing that the bodyguards were still confronting Wang Tianyu, Xie Hongmei urged them on.

Hearing Xie Hongmei's prompting, the two uninjured bodyguards nodded to each other.

Almost in an instant, the two attacked Wang Tianyu simultaneously from the left and right.

The injured burly bodyguard also slowly edged closer to Wang Tianyu.

Faced with Wang Tianyu's strength, they chose to join forces as three.

Wang Tianyu's fist slammed heavily into the bodyguard's crossed arms.

After taking that punch, the bodyguard felt as if both his arms no longer belonged to him.

As searing pain shot through him, his right forearm went weak.

Sensing something wrong with his body, he quickly staggered backward to dissipate the force.

Once he had steadied himself, the bodyguard roared, "My right arm is broken! This man is too strong—we're no match for him!"

"What?"

Of the two bodyguards who had rushed in, one had instantly lost his fighting ability.

The remaining black-clad bodyguard was both shocked and enraged at the sight.

But he had already gotten close to Wang Tianyu. The arrow was on the string; it had to be loosed.

The uninjured black-clad bodyguard gritted his teeth and let out a low roar.

Then came a lightning-fast kick followed by a punch.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Faced with those two attacks coming at him, Wang Tianyu's body was incredibly agile.

With two sways of his body, Wang Tianyu had already evaded both attacks.

After dodging his opponent's assault, Wang Tianyu showed no mercy and threw another iron fist at him.

The tremendous force instantly knocked the bodyguard to the ground.

The burly bodyguard who had been injured at the start had been planning to wait for a chance to launch a sneak attack.

But upon seeing this, he was so frightened that he stood frozen in place, not daring to approach Wang Tianyu again.

Most of Wang Tianyu's skill was concentrated in his fists. The strength in his legs was far less than that in his punches.

The burly bodyguard who had taken Wang Tianyu's kick at the beginning was actually the least injured of the three.

The burly bodyguard stopped moving, but Wang Tianyu had no intention of letting him off so easily.

Another flying kick came down. The dazed burly bodyguard did not even have the presence of mind to dodge.

Wang Tianyu clapped his hands, a trace of a victorious smile on his face.

Seeing all three bodyguards lose their fighting ability in the blink of an eye, Wang Xun and Xie Hongmei stood there with blank expressions.

"How is this possible? These three bodyguards are all quite capable. How could they be taken down so easily?"

Wang Xun knew very well how strong these three bodyguards were. Their monthly salaries were no small sum.

Though the three had not graduated from a martial arts university, they had at least received training in martial arts classes.

Yet now, all three had been so easily knocked to the ground by Wang Tianyu. Wang Xun felt as though his mind had crashed.

"You're next!"

After dealing with the three bodyguards, Wang Tianyu turned his gaze toward Wang Xun and Xie Hongmei.

Wang Tianyu grabbed Wang Xun by the collar and lifted his entire body into the air.

Wang Xun was an ordinary man. The force of his struggles was completely negligible to Wang Tianyu.

"Tell me, who is your boss?"

The moment Wang Tianyu asked the question, Wang Xun immediately shut his mouth and even stopped struggling.

"Talk."

Wang Tianyu gave Wang Xun a slap. With that force, Wang Xun's face immediately swelled high.

Yet even so, Wang Xun kept his mouth shut and said nothing.

Wang Xun curled up on the ground, looking as miserable as could be.

Wang Tianyu could not kill Wang Xun, so he turned his gaze to Xie Hongmei.

"Classmate Xie Hongmei, you'll tell me, right? You said you would give me the answer."

Wang Tianyu glared viciously at Xie Hongmei. With that savage grin on his face, he looked terrifying.

"Don't come over. Don't come over."

The four people lying on the ground looked more miserable than the last.

Afraid that she would end up like them, Xie Hongmei's voice took on a sobbing tone.

"I'll tell you. It was Deng Rensheng. Deng Rensheng told me to do this."

Xie Hongmei's backbone was far softer than Wang Xun's. Wang Tianyu had barely done anything to her before she revealed the person behind it all.

"Deng Rensheng. So it really was you!"
