Background / History

An outsider from the Demon Race, the Demon God entered Liang Bo's homeworld more than thirty years before the events of Chapter 171. Because foreign experts were constrained by the world's laws, he initially could not use his full strength; his displayed power grew as he integrated with the world. His abrupt rise among the demons led the human Venerables to identify him as a grave existential threat. 171 175 181

He became the leader of the Demon Race and sought to unite its tribes, particularly elevating the Sky Wolf King Tribe. Under his command, the tribe possessed seven Heaven-rank experts, while Moon-Howling Demon Venerable was appointed to lead the Demon Race's attack on Linjing City. 79 204

After Liang Bo annihilated much of the Demon Spirit Ranking, the Demon God judged him too dangerous to leave alive. He ordered Fushan to recruit a Heaven-tier death warrior, promising the dying Azure Elephant Demon Venerable three hundred additional years of life in exchange for assassinating Liang Bo. He also supplied a pill that could erase demon aura and the Silent Spirit Flower, a soul-killing weapon effective against all targets below the Heaven Origin Realm within one hundred meters. 183 184

The Demon God later mobilized the Demon Race to seize what he believed was the Demon Emperor's inheritance. Blade King exploited that urgency to trap him in a formation left by Human Emperor Xia Wushang. Although Blade King forced him into a disadvantage, Elder Qing shattered the formation and freed him. 206 207 209

During the ensuing war, the Demon God personally pursued the severely injured Liang Bo after Blade King chose to hold back Elder Qing. As Liang Bo recovered and began killing Demon Venerables, the Demon God responded by ordering his remaining peak subordinates to gather in pairs and eventually used Sky Wolf Demon Venerable as bait in a positioning-jade-slip trap. 210 214 216

The trap culminated in a direct confrontation. The Demon God removed his seal, fought Liang Bo with the support of the Demon God's Praise formation, and summoned a Heavenly Wolf phantom through his bloodline. Liang Bo ultimately overwhelmed him with the secret art Sin, forcing him to flee through a black hole. He escaped the planet aboard a void warship, leaving the Demon Race to collapse under humanity's counterattack. 217 218 219

The Demon God successfully acquired the Demon Emperor's inheritance after the war. On Purple River Star, he inherited the title of Demon God Palace Master following his predecessor's death, transformed the previously minor Demon God Palace into a major power, and became one of the planet's three strongest experts. News of Liang Bo's Space-Time Ranking Contest result, however, left him fearful that Liang Bo would eventually find him. 338

Liang Bo, Blade King, Zhao Zhao, Zhu Yuer, and Xiong Shaojun traced him to Purple River Star. The Demon God attempted to settle the past through monetary compensation, offering one Origin Crystal for every human who died in the war. Liang Bo demanded three hundred billion Origin Crystals for at least three billion dead; when the Demon God refused, Liang Bo severely injured him with a single strike and killed him. 338 339

The Demon God first appears as a tall, ordinary-looking young man with no aura leaking from his body. After becoming the master of Demon God Palace, he is depicted as a handsome and imposing figure in golden battle armor. 183 338

Despite his arrogance as the Demon Race's leader, he can recognize when he is outmatched. After learning of Liang Bo's standing in the Space-Time Ranking Contest, he considers abandoning Demon God Palace and hiding to cultivate in secret rather than facing Liang Bo directly. 338
