Li Changshou joined an expedition to the Northern Continent of Julu, where he secretly defeated Yuwen Ling’s group and helped Youqin Xuanya survive. Back on Lesser Qiong Peak, he strengthened his preparations to make a Melting Immortal Pill for Qi Yuan.

• Li Changshou joined Jiu Jiu’s expedition to the Treasure Forest of Chaotic Miasma, where Youqin Xuanya and Yuan Qing chose the dangerous route and Lan Ling'e traveled separately to the Shore of the East Sea.
• After discovering Ci Jiu’s plot against the disciples, Li Changshou killed him and learned that Youqin Xuanya and the others were in danger.
• Li Changshou found Youqin Xuanya wounded, treated her, and secretly guided her toward the Three-eyed Green Wave Snake and the pursuing cultivators.
• Li Changshou helped the snake kill Yuwen Ling’s group, then drugged Yuan Qing so Youqin Xuanya’s flying swords killed him and carried the unconscious Youqin Xuanya to safety.

Li Changshou helped Qi Yuan survive his heavenly tribulation, then represented Du Xian Sect at the Demon-Quelling Assembly, where he crossed paths with the Dragon Prince Ao Yi. After returning home, Li Changshou prepared to leave the sect and travel to the Eastern Sea to cross his own tribulation.

• Li Changshou tested his Mage Birdcage while preparing for Qi Yuan’s tribulation, but the approaching dragon emissary proved to be delivering an invitation to the Demon-Quelling Assembly.
• Li Changshou helped Qi Yuan survive his five-bolt tribulation with a Melting Immortal Pill, which transformed him into a Turbid Immortal.
• Jiu Wu gave Li Changshou the first volume of the Wu Wei Scripture and arranged for him to join Du Xian Sect’s trip to the Eastern Sea, where Youqin Xuanya became the group’s leader.
• At the Dragon Palace assembly, Li Changshou outmaneuvered Ao Yi in a sparring match, while Youqin Xuanya defeated numerous challengers and claimed four immortal treasures for Du Xian Sect.
• Qi Yuan learned how Li Changshou had protected and helped him, then entered secluded cultivation and left Li Changshou in charge of Lesser Qiong Peak.

• Li Changshou subdued Ao Yi, recognized him as the Eastern Sea Dragon Palace’s Second Prince, and set him adrift rather than risk killing him.
• Li Changshou survived two rounds of heavenly tribulation and became an immortal, then recovered inside a fish while villagers worshiped him as a sea god.
• Li Changshou destroyed a sea demon aiding Western Teachings preachers, and Bear Stockade began worshiping him as its Sea God.

• Li Changshou discovered the South Sea God Cult had spread widely, strengthened Lesser Qiong Peak’s defenses, and began investigating the mosquito-controlled forces gathering against Du Xian Sect.
• With Elder Wan Linjun, Li Changshou poisoned and destroyed a group of hidden enemies, but a surviving blood-winged mosquito revealed Daoist Wen Jing’s involvement.
• Li Changshou prepared poison arrays and Paper Daoists as two large enemy forces advanced, then helped Du Xian Sect’s disciples evacuate and set traps as the Mountain Protecting Grand Formation fell.
• Jiu Wu and Youqin Xuanya appealed to the Portrait of a Saint, prompting Great Mage Xuandu to intervene, while Li Changshou coordinated the sect’s retreat and counterattacks.
• Li Changshou lured the invading forces into poison and killing arrays, then trapped and destroyed the Celestial Immortal controlled by the Mosquito Daoist.
