Three things
Over the time that followed, Jia Xiu and Collins held a more detailed discussion on how to make the Blood Clan in every city accept the transformation.
This included, but was not limited to, publicity. Everyone had to know that receiving the services of "New Blood Clan" members who had undergone transformation was safer.
They would mobilize the influence of newspapers, bards, operas, dance dramas, plays, and even Phantom World entertainment to create the impression among the Blood Clan that accepting transformation was a necessary step for every Vampire to gain dignity and embrace the new era.
They would encourage every Blood Clan member to voluntarily undergo transformation on schedule, while portraying those unwilling to accept it as negative examples and creating pressure through public opinion.
They had to wildly promote the benefits of no longer drinking blood. Those refined artistic depictions of Vampires from the past were best left behind.
In their place, the elegant figures in artistic works would be New Blood Clan members of the new era, while those who still insisted on drinking blood would all be stubborn, morbid, gloomy villains.
Those famous tragic stories of humans and Vampires falling in love, only to be forced apart in the end or die together for love, could finally receive happy endings.
They could simply revise them according to the template of "a Vampire lord or lady who originally resisted transformation, but chose to accept it after being moved by their lover, and ultimately lived happily ever after together."
As for why there had never been endings in the past where both became Vampires, it was because countries and organizations had always restricted the Blood Clan's development. Thus, they had not encouraged folk stories to be written in the direction of Vampires having happy endings.
