Sometimes, whether a problem could be solved depended on a bit of luck.

Mystical research was still research.

That was why Ram was an indispensable member of the Jia Xiu Squad, and why he really was useful at critical moments.

Jia Xiu reexamined the several sets of signals obtained from the experiment's feedback.

The signals from humans and humanoid Devil Race members were indeed identical in content.

But just as Ram had suggested, was it possible that the way the signals arrived—or rather, the process—was different?

This part was not reflected in the intermediate encoding of Holy Light divine arts. It might have been implemented in the invisible portions.

After all, that thing had far more invisible parts than visible ones.

Holy Light, that mysterious chief god, might be set aside in other respects, but its numbers were absolutely maxed out.

With no divine arts to use as reference, Jia Xiu could only do it himself.

Once he decided to start with the signal feedback process, he began reconstructing the spell used to detect signals.

It sounded simple enough: "the process of signal feedback."

In practice, it was a tremendous pain.

Because he had no idea which stage of the feedback process, or which parameter, was causing the problem.

He could only capture as much additional information as possible, rather than merely capturing the signal's content as before.

Jia Xiu did not complain. He simply began the reconstruction.

Rather than waste time complaining, he might as well get started sooner. Since the trouble could not be avoided, he might as well finish the job as early as possible.

That had always been his way of thinking.

It was hard to say whether it was optimism or pragmatism. Mostly, it was a "passive skill" developed during his career as a programmer.
