He did not know whether their trains of thought had happened to align, or whether that incomparably complex magic-circuit diagram had simply looked professional enough, but in any case, this was undoubtedly tremendous news for Jia Xiu.
"Can I choose the people who participate in the project?"
Jia Xiu asked again to make sure.
"Yes. However, personnel already assigned to important duties may be unable to participate. Anyone with spare time, or whose current work is not especially urgent, can be discussed. Of course, it will still depend on their personal willingness. In addition, we can provide a funding budget for several hundred people, but we cannot supply all of the personnel ourselves. Any major research project required not only elite personnel to crack the most difficult problems, but also a great many people to handle relatively repetitive, less important work.
