"So you mean you think the key to discovering the principles behind interplanar storms lies in becoming a vessel for faith?"
Inside the Gate Laboratory, Justina looked at Jia Xiu, whose face was haggard yet somehow brimming with inexplicable energy. She could not tell whether he was forcing himself to stay upright or burning away his life force. Neither seemed like a good sign.
"How about we put aside whether it's the key or not, and you go get some rest first?"
"No, no, no, I'm very lucid. Yes, lucid. Lucid beyond belief. This is an extremely important discovery. If we can pull it off, we might be able to safely travel through any known plane. Think of all the resources, knowledge, even reinforcements we could obtain. Given the current situation, the Devil Race should be a threat faced by many planes. Some have already finished facing them, so we should unite. Also, I suspect this was caused by leakage from some dimension of faith. That means it may be connected to the annihilation of gods somehow. Perhaps faith itself has a problem."
Jia Xiu spoke at breakneck speed. He was indeed a little exhilarated. Something that had tormented him for dozens of days had suddenly revealed a possible breakthrough, and it was hard not to get excited. Compared to that, a little haggardness was nothing. He just looked somewhat frightening. He believed he would recover in a couple of days.
Whenever he got excited, his speech tended to take flight. Perhaps his mouth simply could not keep up with his brain.
He had already explained the general situation to Justina before, along with the logic behind this idea, though it seemed she had not fully understood.
Of course, Jia Xiu had not expected her to understand everything. Repeating it
