"Sun's Grace?"
When he heard the spell Jia Xiu had submitted, the examiner found it rather strange. It was a spell with a surprisingly respectable-sounding name.
The sun really did show the world great kindness.
All living things depended on the sun to grow. Without it, life on earth would be hard to sustain, so it made perfect sense to be grateful to the sun.
That was also why the Sun God had always enjoyed a remarkably wide following.
A deity's power depended on two things: the number of worshippers and the authority they wielded.
Some deities were downright sinister. Farazur, for instance, was the dragon race's god of withering, decay, and death. His followers were few, and everywhere they went, they were treated like members of a cult. Yet his divine authority was powerful, and he was formidable in his own right, so he remained a mighty deity.
The Sun God, on the other hand, had a widespread following and powerful divine authority, making him one of the top-tier deities.
This Sun's Grace was probably meant to call upon the Sun God's favor and bless a target.
It was Guidance tailored to a specific deity and enhanced for a particular effect.
Seen that way, it seemed pretty normal.
Had he wrongly accused this examinee named Jia Xiu?
The Arbitration Committee member who had been called over asked, "Is there a problem with examinee Jia Xiu's spell?"
"There's no major problem so far. It's just a little complicated, and I'm not sure how to assess it," the examiner replied.
After being "educated" twice, the examiner had learned not to jump to conclusions.
If something seemed even slightly suspicious, he would just assume there was a problem for now.
"Complicated how? Examinee Jia Xiu, explain your spell. I'll take a look
