Background / History

Xiao Wu entered the human world after taking human form, intending to avenge her mother, A Rou, whose soul ring and soul bone were taken by Bibi Dong. She traveled at night toward Nuoding City and planned to enroll at the Nuoding City Junior Spirit Master Academy, concealing her soul beast identity from human powerhouses. 11 12

Ling Xuqing discovered and ambushed her on a remote forest path. His Golden Dragon King bloodline suppressed her Soft Bone Rabbit bloodline and prevented her from using her Soft Technique. He offered her a choice between death and becoming his Soul Spirit, promising that her soul would remain intact and that he would help revive her mother. 12

After weighing her desire for revenge against the danger of living alone among humans, Xiao Wu accepted. She sacrificed her body, cultivation, and origin power to Ling Xuqing, but her soul survived as a pink halo within his sea of consciousness. The two became life-linked Soul Spirit partners, able to share thoughts and senses. 13 14

Xiao Wu later gained a spirit body, accompanied Ling Xuqing through Nuoding City, and developed a close bond with A Yin and Gu Yuena. She eventually revisited Life Lake, where she reunited with Da Ming and Er Ming and praised Ling Xuqing as the Dragon God's successor. 18 25 55 56
