Forced Prison Break

Benjamin had no mind to consider any of that. Seeing people sprawled all over the ground, he hurriedly raised a hand and drew a rune, casting Elemental Command: Healing as quickly as he could.

As water elements gathered, fine droplets of rain blanketed the two cells. Benjamin clenched his fists and watched nervously as the water droplets he had summoned fell onto the servants, silently melting into their bodies.

The system, however, cried out in his mind.

"Are you insane? Runes will cause major elemental disturbances. This is Havenlight—do you really think The Church won't notice? Someone will definitely come running!"

Benjamin remained unmoved. "Then let them come."

The healing droplets lasted for around ten seconds. At last, the bodies of those lying on the ground suddenly began to tremble. Benjamin quickly looked over. Out of more than forty people, he had managed to save six. As for the rest... even if he kept the rune active, they would never wake again.

At that moment, Benjamin swiftly summoned a great deal of water vapor, swept up the six people, and slipped into the tunnel that had just been dug.

"What happened... Wait! Who goes there? Stop!"

At that moment, the jailers' voices also rang out from beyond the cells. Several soldiers had apparently sensed that something was wrong and entered the first underground level to investigate, only to see Benjamin's retreating figure as he led people away.

So they instinctively shouted after him.

Benjamin ignored them completely.

He summoned six water bubbles, wrapping the six surviving servants inside. At nearly gale-like speed, they vanished into the tunnel Benjamin had dug, giving the jailers no time to react at all.
