Since the world's great cataclysm, the map of the land had changed dramatically. Countless territories had appeared out of thin air, and even the entire Blue Star had expanded countless times over.
As a result, the distance between nations could no longer be crossed easily by ordinary planes.
Instead, they had to be linked through the transport of several, or even dozens, of ultra-long-distance Teleportation Arrays.
After many twists and turns, Ling Zhan and the others first teleported to a port city in the Giant Kingdom, then transferred to Hillfort City in the Dwarf Kingdom, before transferring again through the major capitals of several western nations.
Only then did they successfully arrive at the capital of the Holy Light Empire.
Even though they used ultra-long-distance teleportation arrays every time, the journey still took nearly an hour.
This showed just how much time it would take if one flew from the Dragon Kingdom to the Holy Light Empire on an international plane.
When Ling Zhan and the others emerged from the darkness and saw the light again,
what met their eyes was a holy city of light blazing with dazzling radiance.
The entire capital bore the style of ancient medieval architecture, with snow-white as its primary color, lightly adorned and embellished with pale blue or light red bricks and tiles.
Even the clothing of every resident here was predominantly white.
Perhaps due to the mechanism of the capital's defensive grand array, all light elements from the outside world flowed into this city.
It was peaceful here, yet prosperous and bustling.
