"Of course, there is the most critical propulsion system."
A complex stream of data flowed through 101's azure electronic eyes. Its tone remained elegant, yet it carried a hint of pride.
"This unit is equipped with a micro-curvature engine array."
"Within the atmosphere, the standard cruising speed can reach 10,000 kilometers per second."
"If the maximum sprint mode is activated, the speed can soar to 100,000 kilometers per second, which is one-third the speed of light."
"Once it enters the vacuum of outer space, it can perform long-distance sub-light cruising, reaching a maximum of twice the speed of light."
"One-third the speed of light..."
Lin Fan raised an eyebrow as he listened to these terrifying statistics.
What did this kind of speed mean?
It meant that on this Earth, no creature or fighter jet could ever catch his taillights.
Even the strongest on Earth, Hong and Thor, could only eat dust behind this X-101!
Moreover, he finally possessed the genuine possibility of traveling into the cosmos and roaming the universe.
"Good, very good, excellent."
"101."
Lin Fan reached out and tapped his fingertip against the holographic projection screen in front of him.
"Activate full-spectrum stealth mode and plot the course."
Swish.
The holographic map expanded instantly, a blue planet rotating rapidly in the center of the screen.
Then, the perspective zoomed in at high speed, finally locking onto the massive, isolated landmass in the Southern Hemisphere—the Australian Continent.
In the hinterland of that continent lay a mysterious mountain range shrouded in thick fog all year round.
"Target: Mist Island in the heart of the Australian Continent."
"Command confirmed!"
101 spread its wings and gave them an elegant wave.
"Anti-gravity engines engaged."
"Shaft penetration mode activated."
"Stealth field at full power."
"Course plotted; automatic avoidance of dense human urban areas and known danger zones is active."
"Estimated time of arrival: 10 seconds."
"How long??!"
Amidst Lin Fan's exclamation, the pitch-black warship that had been hovering underground suddenly blurred.
As the stealth field activated, the hundred-meter-long hull vanished into thin air.
There were no exhaust flames, no deafening roar, only a slight distortion of the surrounding space.
The stealth field locked all shockwaves generated by the engines within a thin aerodynamic isolation layer.
Like an invisible phantom, the warship used a high-frequency oscillation cutting field to forcibly "melt" a narrow shaft through the heavy building debris overhead.
Immediately after.
Whoosh!
It climbed silently along the shaft and shot into the clouds in an instant.
It carved a trajectory impossible to track across the ten-thousand-meter-high sky, streaking rapidly toward the distant Southern Hemisphere!
In a mere 10 seconds, the X-101 stealth warship appeared silently above the clouds of the Australian Continent like a ghost.
Lin Fan stood in the panoramic simulated command room, looking at the land covered in deep green below.
This was one of the areas with the densest vegetation and the most terrifying concentration of monsters on Earth, and it was an absolute forbidden zone for human civilization.
The rolling mountain ranges looked like a sleeping giant dragon, winding and coiling in the heart of the continent.
In the center of those encircling mountains lay a vast lake.
In the middle of the lake, an isolated island stood quietly.
Mist Island.
It was tightly shrouded in a layer of thick, impenetrable white fog, like a white tumor forgotten by heaven and earth, embedded in the deep black lake water.
"Beep!"
"Target airspace reached."
101's voice echoed in the command cabin.
Following the report, the holographic screen in the center of the console lit up instantly.
Several scanning beams penetrated the clouds and mist below, constructing a highly detailed three-dimensional topographic map.
Through the real-time imaging on the screen, one could clearly see the island shrouded in mist and the plant monsters upon it.
"101, maintain stealth and hover at an altitude of 3,000 meters," Lin Fan said. "Activate the full-power life-detection radar and mark every single plant monster down there for me."
"Especially those with abnormally active energy signatures—don't miss a single one."
"Understood."
The owl in the holographic projection nodded slightly, its eyes glowing with intense blue light.
Beep, beep, beep!
The warship's screen instantly lit up with dense red dots.
Those red dots were distributed in every corner of the island; some were moving slowly, while others flickered on and off as if breathing.
Lin Fan glanced at the screen, paused for a moment on the most prominent light point at the very center of Mist Island, then withdrew his gaze.
He didn't need to rush into the center just yet.
One must eat a meal one bite at a time, and walk a path one step at a time.
He would start from the periphery, harvest those plant monsters along the way, and incidentally... test his current combat capabilities.
After syncing the map to his tactical watch, Lin Fan gave the order.
"Open the hatch."
"Command confirmed, hatch opening."
Hiss.
With a slight release of air pressure, the hatch on the underside of the warship slid open slowly.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!!
A gale rushed in instantly, causing Lin Fan's combat suit to snap and flutter.
Without any hesitation, Lin Fan walked to the edge of the hatch and leaped!
Whoosh!
He plummeted directly from an altitude of 3,000 meters!
The wind whistled crazily in his ears, an intense sensation of weightlessness enveloped his entire body, and his adrenaline surged.
The ground magnified rapidly in his field of vision, the white fog looking like the gaping maw of a giant beast, waiting for Lin Fan's descent.
Just five hundred meters from the ground.
Flap.
The Sky Splitter wings on Lin Fan's back snapped open. With a powerful beat and the support of his spiritual force, the massive downward momentum was perfectly neutralized.
He hovered lightly in mid-air, a dense, primeval jungle beneath his feet.
White mist swirled around him, visibility was extremely low, and he could barely make out objects within a few dozen meters.
Lin Fan didn't rush to land; instead, he closed his eyes.
Boom!
His spiritual force spread out like mercury pouring onto the ground, sensing the threats in the vicinity.
He then tapped his tactical watch, and the holographic map of Mist Island appeared before him, complete with the red dots marked by 101.
Looking at the holographic map, Lin Fan instantly locked onto a red dot one kilometer away.
"The first target is right over there."
With a shift of his figure, Lin Fan transformed into a Flowing Light. In just a moment, he was hovering before a massive entity.
It was a giant vine plant growing in the crevices of the rocks.
The vine was as thick as a water barrel, winding and coiling around several towering trees nearby, its entire body a strange, eerie purplish-red.
The surface was covered in dense, ferocious thorns that glinted with a cold light in the dim surroundings.
At the tip of the vine hung several fist-sized fruits that looked like rubies.
The fruits were crystal clear, with liquid seemingly flowing slowly inside, emitting a strange fragrance.
"That must be the essence of this vine."
Lin Fan flipped his hand and drew Calamity.
"Let's start the first course with you."
