Garos drew in his wings and silently circled amid the drifting winds and clouds. His dragon eyes lowered as he gazed down at the hills below.
A flock of Thunderhorn Sheep came into view, using the large rocks around them to grind their horns.
These creatures resembled bighorn sheep. The curved massive horns atop their heads were wreathed in dancing electricity, and each time they lowered their heads to scrape against the rocks, tiny arcs of lightning burst forth.
At the center of the flock, a Thunderhorn Sheep as large as an elephant slowly raised its head.
Its horns no longer crackled with the blue-white electricity of ordinary members. Instead, they were dark silver like liquid metal, their surfaces densely covered in lightning-like patterns. Whenever it ground its horns, the hard basalt beneath them split with ear-piercing sizzling, leaving web-like scorch marks.
