The Red Iron Dragon sat crouched in the courtyard.

Though his body was enormous, this courtyard was an unusual place. He seemed to occupy a separate layer of space. His vast draconic body overlapped with the flowers, fountain, stone paths, and other features without disturbing the scenery in the slightest.

After that, time passed quietly.

The other Midsummer Gods came from every direction, arriving one after another.

The figures in the courtyard gradually grew more numerous.

Just then, a small golden figure entered the courtyard. He swept his gaze around, quickly spotted the Red Iron Dragon, and flew straight over. Landing beside Garos, he curled up his tail and settled next to him.

It was the Fairy Dragon God, Naitar.

Crouching beside Garos, he poked the Red Iron Dragon's claw and said with a grin, "Garos, I knew you wouldn't miss an occasion like this."

The two dragons differed enormously in size.

Yet the sight of them crouching side by side, one large and one small, looked perfectly harmonious.

The Red Iron Dragon lowered his head to look at Naitar beside his claw and smiled slightly.

"Of course."

"I'm the Joyful Court's fiercest dragon. How could you leave me out of something like this?"

The Fairy Dragon nodded vigorously. "Exactly! You're the fiercest dragon, and I'm the second fiercest. Together, we're the Joyful Court's two great dragons. If a war between gods breaks out, we'll go in together. Whoever comes at us, we'll crush them and laugh all the way!"

"No problem. It's settled."

The Red Iron Dragon nodded and said solemnly, "When the time comes, I'll handle the crushing out front."

Without the slightest embarrassment, Naitar grinned and picked up where he left off. "And I'll stand behind you, laughing and cheering you on. A clear division of labor."
