The woodland ahead gradually opened up, revealing a clearing surrounded by ancient trees.

The soul beast stood roughly as tall as two people stacked atop one another. It was covered in thick dark gray hide and had a pair of massive tusks, its entire body radiating the heavy, profound aura unique to a Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beast.

Every one of its attacks left deep marks in the ground. Its footsteps were heavy, and though it was not particularly agile, its oppressive force was immense. With every step forward, it relentlessly compressed its opponent's room to maneuver.

Shui Leng's figure was continuously forced back beneath the Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beast's assault.

She used the chill of the Ice Phoenix to freeze a thin layer of ice over the ground, attempting to limit the soul beast's movement speed. But its strength far exceeded her expectations. The ice shattered into powder beneath its paws, failing to slow it by even half a step.

When her ice spikes struck the soul beast's thick hide, they could only leave shallow dents and could not pierce through. Nor could her icy mist cause it any noticeable stiffness.

When the soul beast's sharp claws came crashing down, she twisted aside to avoid the frontal blow. The air currents generated as those claws tore through the air ripped a long gash in the hem of her clothing. Her ice-blue hair scattered in the gust before falling back into place.

Her complexion was far paler than when Li Long had seen her during the preliminaries, and her breathing was clearly hurried. The rate at which she was consuming Soul Power had already
