"Dao that can be spoken is not the constant Dao..."

The first thing Father copied was the foundation of the immortal path, the king of all scriptures—the Dao De Jing. As he copied, he murmured it aloud. Every word and sentence he wrote contained spiritual radiance invisible to ordinary people.

After that, Father copied the sacred names of many Divine Sovereigns and their corresponding scriptures. With every completed scripture, another thread of divine light appeared in the space where Father sat.

For seven days and seven nights, Father grew more and more engrossed in his copying. Had he not greeted A Long and Xiao Yu midway through, the two of them would likely have burst through the door.

After copying the sacred names and scriptures of the many Divine Sovereigns, Father began copying some scattered classics.

These classics advocated purity of mind. As he copied them, Father could not help reading them aloud.

"The superior scholar does not contend; the inferior scholar loves contention. Superior virtue does not cling to virtue; inferior virtue grasps at virtue. Those who cling are not called Dao and virtue. The reason sentient beings cannot attain the true Dao is because they harbor deluded minds; once there is a deluded mind, the spirit is startled..."

After finishing, Father softly repeated one passage. As he chanted it again and again, every scripture he had already copied suddenly began generating light. White vapor rose from each volume, while threads of white vapor also flowed between the lines of the Scripture of Purity he had just copied before him.

The white vapor gathered like a tide, circling Father and continuously converging inward. It gradually changed
