After tossing a large log inside and extending the time to over an hour, he finally let out a sigh of relief.
His body temperature was slowly recovering. Feeling the comfortable warmth, he relaxed a little.
Looking at the current objectives provided by the game,
[Sleep in the cave] [Light a fire] [Use first aid to stop the bleeding] [Try to climb out of the ravine]
He had already wrapped the bandages he found around his left hand, covering the horrifying wound.
He tried to leave the cave, but the temperature outside was terrifyingly low. On icy, snow-covered nights, the temperature became exceptionally cold. No one would travel at night in real life, and the same was true in the game.
As he stayed by the fire, his only choice was to lean against the haystack beside it and sleep through the freezing night.
To keep from freezing to death overnight, he tossed several more pieces of wood into the fire, hoping to extend the flames' burning time.
Only after finishing all that did he quietly fall asleep beside the fire.
The night became quiet as he slept, and every sound around him seemed to vanish along with it.
The first time he went to sleep, he had even worried that he might somehow die on the very first night. Fortunately, that did not happen.
When he woke up, the fire beside him had already gone out, and the night had faded away. The sky outside was not all that clear, but better than yesterday, the icy wind had stopped howling.
The massive flames caused by the crash had long since disappeared. All that remained outside were bits of blackened charcoal buried in the snow, proof that last night's persistently burning blaze had ultimately been covered and extinguished
