"I came to catch up on yesterday's progress." Jiang Yixin shifted her coffee cup to her left hand, unconsciously tugged at the hem of her clothes with her right, and lowered her head as she slipped toward her workstation.
After turning on her computer, she first opened yesterday's commit history.

She clicked into it and looked through it for a while.
The layering was clear, the interface encapsulation was clean, and the comments read like a textbook. The variable naming was absurdly standardized; even temporary variables used full camelCase.
She remembered the way Chen Jianye had picked apart her code during review and curled her lip.
That bald uncle might have a foul mouth and lousy character, but he was genuinely incredible at coding.
