After surviving assassination attempts and establishing his standing at the Wind and Cloud Gathering, he traveled to the frontier to find Lin Ziwei’s missing caravan and entered negotiations with the Nayale Tribe.

• Ying Yang escaped to a mountain cave while Zhao Feng uncovered links between Puppet Liang, the Four Great Lineages, and Fei Yuanzhong, then rejected the Prince of Jin’s attempt to win his allegiance.
• Zhao Feng protected the prisoners on the journey to Upper Capital, advised Emperor Jing on recovering You Province, and exposed Fei Yuanzhong’s treason, leading to his arrest and the closure of Cloud Crane Academy.
• Zhao Feng returned to Bing Province, helped lead the campaign into You Province, and used the Martial Suppression Guard to disrupt Northern Barbarian supplies and rally civilians.
• Zhao Feng captured You Province City, defeated the Four Great Lineages, opened their granaries, and helped crush Hu Hamu’s retreating army.

Zhao Feng uncovered and stopped a Nine Nether Demon Sect plot in the Upper Capital, then was appointed Marshal of the Eastern Expedition against the Northern Barbarians. He gathered his forces in Bingzhou City and began organizing the campaign beyond White Spring Pass.

• Zhao Feng and Ba Tu killed Wo Lie and broke the Hadajin Tribe’s hold over the border tribes, then Zhao Feng and Su Qingwan escaped a Wolf Tribe pursuit into the Kentra Mountains.
• Zhao Feng and Su Qingwan entered the Barbarian God’s hidden palace, took the Heaven Bone Wall, survived its collapsing hall, and Zhao Feng refined the Barbarian God’s finger bone and saber.
• After parting from Su Qingwan, Zhao Feng returned to Upper Capital and investigated a string of blood-draining murders, with Su Qingwan identifying the Nine Nether Blood-Devouring Art behind them.
• Zhao Feng traced the killings to the Nine Nether Demon Sect, captured sect members, and pursued Nether Concubine, who killed herself before revealing the young master’s plans.
• Zhao Feng presented the case to Emperor Jing, exposed Ding Huai and his links to the sect, and helped bring down Zhang Jie before receiving the title of First-Rank Duke Who Assists the State.
• Emperor Jing appointed Zhao Feng Marshal of the Eastern Expedition, and Zhao Feng assigned his deputies and subordinates to prepare the troops, supplies, intelligence, and allied cavalry.

Zhao Feng conquered the Northern Barbarian strongholds and returned to Upper Capital as Prince of Northern Pacification, then uncovered signs that the Nine Nether Demon Sect was seeking fragments of a sacrificial vessel. He and Nangong Wanwan followed the trail to Cangwu Mountain, where two Dharma Kings revealed they had lured them into a trap.

• Zhao Feng defeated Hakuru’s ambush at Karhun Valley, then used Jingxuan’s help to break Moro Ke’s spell and defeat the Northern Barbarians at Gulda City.
• Zhao Feng captured the hidden stockpile at Graystone Mountain and took Zhamur City after its tribes opened the gates, prompting Na Hachu to take his own life.
• Zhao Feng marched west and joined Sun Chenzong’s forces, then led a night attack that broke Wutai’s camp, though Wutai escaped with a mysterious man.
• Emperor Jing named Zhao Feng Prince of Northern Pacification, and Zhao Feng later defeated leading martial artists at the Wind and Cloud Grand Gathering, including Nangong Wanwan.
• Nangong Wanwan warned Zhao Feng that renewed stellar shifts might herald the return of the Nine Nether Demon Sect, while Zhao Feng investigated strange phenomena and the Empress Dowager’s suspicious identity.

Zhao Feng pursued the Nine Netherworld Divine Lantern fragments, won the Hidden Sect Grand Assembly, and survived a collapsing secret realm before recovering with Su Qingwan’s help. As Zhao Feng reached the Profound Mastery Realm, Emperor Xian emerged and challenged Emperor Jing, only to be stopped by Great Yan’s hidden guardian.

• Zhao Feng and Nangong Wanwan defeated the Demon Sect fighters, and Zhao Feng gathered lantern fragments before investigating the Empress Dowager’s hidden shard and the formation beneath Mao Mausoleum.
• Zhao Feng represented Great Yan at the Hidden Sect Grand Assembly, reached the Ninth Floor of the Heavenly Mechanism Tower, defeated the Phantom Swordmaster, and won first place.
• Zhao Feng entered the Falling Star Secret Realm with Lu Bing, where competing martial artists battled over treasures before the realm collapsed and swept Zhao Feng into a hidden cave.
• Zhao Feng and Zhang Fan fought the Nine Nether Demon Sect’s young master, but the cave collapsed and left Zhao Feng badly injured.
