Background

Nolan is a veteran Viltrumite who has spent nearly a thousand years serving the Empire. Before the Scourge Virus devastated the Viltrumite population, he worked as an instructor and trained new recruits through lethal, unrestricted combat. 13 37

He was sent to Earth approximately twenty years before the story. As Omni-Man, he became a celebrated superhero and cultivated ties with the Global Guardians and Global Defense Agency, both to understand Earth's defensive capacity and to prepare for its eventual conquest. 19 He built a life with Debbie Grayson and their daughter Marcia, though his loyalty to the Imperium repeatedly conflicts with his attachment to them. 19 36 66
