Background / History

The Hun Clan is described as the ancient clan with the longest inheritance and as one of the two strongest clans among the Eight Ancient Clans, alongside the Ancient Clan. Its true forces and methods remained largely unknown even to rival clan leaders. 327 416 432

In the distant past, the Hun Clan fought the Xiao Clan at the Burial Sky Mountain Range. It ultimately destroyed the Xiao Clan and besieged Xiao Xuan, though Xiao Xuan's final counterattack gravely injured Hun Tiandi and delayed the clan's larger plans for many years. 409 430

The clan covertly supported the Soul Hall, whose indiscriminate conduct and soul-gathering operations depended on Hun Clan backing. It also held Xiao Zhan captive in the Soul Realm, using him to threaten Xiao Yan. 266 367

Before openly beginning its war, the Hun Clan was suspected of silently eliminating the Spirit Clan and Shi Clan. The Hun Clan is suspected of possessing the Tunling Clan's ability to devour the bloodline power of other ancient clans. Gu Yuan theorized that Nihility Devouring Flame acquired this ability after devouring a Tunling King, explaining the Hun Clan's unusually enduring bloodline. 411

Conflict with the Heavenly Mansion Alliance

The Hun Clan initially remained behind the Soul Hall while the Heavenly Mansion Alliance expanded. Xiao Yan recognized that a direct war with the Soul Hall risked mutual destruction because the more dangerous Hun Clan stood behind it. 173 282

Hun Qianmo was later sent to support the Soul Hall's effort to cripple the Heavenly Mansion Alliance. His appearance revealed that the Hun Clan was willing to deploy old monsters when testing the alliance's strength. 354 355

Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame

The Hun Clan sought the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame and sent Hun Feng as part of the Soul Hall contingent. Hun Feng's Divine Bloodline and ability to devour even Heavenly Flames made him a serious match for Xiao Yan. 322 339

Extermination of the Yao Clan

Hun Xuzi attended the Pill Codex under the guise of competing for the title of the continent's greatest alchemist. He then revealed his Seven-Star Dou Saint strength, blocked the Yao Clan's spatial communications, and initiated the extermination operation. 393 395 399

Nihility Devouring Flame covered the Yao Realm with devouring black flame while Hun Jing, Hun Yan, and other Hun Clan experts joined the attack. The Yao Clan was destroyed despite its protective formation and the sacrifice of Yao Dan. 403 406 409

Ancient Jade Campaign

Hun Tiandi personally appeared during the operation against the Ancient Clan. While confronting Gu Yuan, he used infiltrators and split forces to steal the Ancient, Yan, and Lei Clans' jade fragments. 419 420 423

After obtaining all eight fragments, the Hun Clan escaped the allied army at the Burial Sky Mountain Range despite the combined forces of the Ancient, Yan, Lei, and Heavenly Mansion Alliance factions. 430 434 440

Search for the Ancient Emperor's Cave Mansion

Hun Tiandi used the restored Tou She Ancient God Jade to reveal the cave mansion's location in a magma sea. He dispatched the Four Demon Saints to locate it without alerting Gu Yuan. 444

The clan then massacred forces in the Black Corner Region and threatened Jia Nan Academy to clear the area around the cave mansion. 445 453

Pursuit of the Dou God Realm

At the Ancient Emperor's Cave Mansion, Hun Tiandi obtained and swallowed the Emperor Grade Nascent Pill. He escaped with surviving clan members when Gu Yuan and Zhu Kun failed to force the pill from his body. 464

The Hun Clan hid the Soul Realm, destroyed its spatial passages, and sustained Hun Tiandi's refinement through mass sacrifices in the blood pool. 465 466

Hun Tiandi ultimately emerged as a Dou God Expert and began attacking the Central Continent directly, overwhelming Gu Yuan and Zhu Kun and causing massive casualties. 474
