Background / History

Bei Bei first appears beside Tang Ya as they watch over the unconscious Huo Yuhao after his first Soul Ring hunt. Although he regrets that Huo Yuhao's ring appears to be only ten years old, he recognizes that surviving the hunt alone is impressive. When Jiang Bai approaches, Bei Bei immediately manifests blue scales and azure lightning in readiness, then identifies Xue Ying as a Detached Martial Soul. 1 2

He encourages Huo Yuhao not to be discouraged by his weak-looking first ring and supports Tang Ya's decision to accept him into the Tang Sect. During their journey to Shrek Academy, Bei Bei protects the younger members of the group, battles a thousand-year Mandala Snake for Tang Ya's Soul Ring, and praises Huo Yuhao's Mental Detection. 2 3

At Shrek, Bei Bei continues acting as Huo Yuhao's senior brother. He offers help with living expenses and advises him to take academy work if needed, while remaining prepared to support him financially.
