Huo Yuhao grew up at the White Tiger Duke's Estate, where he was repeatedly called a “bastard,” “mongrel,” and “trash.” His mother’s worsening condition and the estate’s cold treatment left him isolated; by the time he met Tang Ya, Bei Bei, and Jiang Bai, he considered himself to have no family. 2 12 23

At roughly fifteen or sixteen, he independently obtained his first soul ring by killing a ten-year Wind Baboon, though the ordeal left him unconscious. Tang Ya invited him into the Tang Sect after recognizing the potential of his body martial soul, Spirit Eyes; he accepted after receiving the first genuine encouragement and acknowledgment of his life. 1 2
