Sherlock, standing to one side, had witnessed almost the entire scene unfold like some idol drama. Though the corner of his mouth twitched, he could only silently watch the spectacle before him. In this situation, he truly had no place to interrupt.
It was not until Tony took Obadiah away and the two iron men began fighting fiercely outside Stark Industries' industrial park that Sherlock finally had the chance to speak to Pepper.
"Come on, Sister Pepper. Tony was worried Obadiah might hurt you, so he asked me to come keep an eye on you."
As he spoke, Sherlock stepped forward and took Pepper's hand, forcibly pulling her attention away from the battlefield between the two iron men.
"Sherlock, will Tony be okay? Shouldn't we go help him?"
At Pepper's words, Sherlock's mouth twitched even harder. His gaze toward her was full of helplessness. If the situation had been different, he truly would have wanted to ask what exactly she could help with if she went over there.

But Pepper completely ignored Sherlock's helplessness. Her attention remained fixed on the battlefield where Tony and Obadiah were fighting.
Seeing this, Sherlock let out a helpless sigh before speaking.
"Come on, Sister Pepper. Only once you're safe can I go help Tony. For now, you don't need to worry. Someone will go help Tony."
The reason Sherlock dared say that was simple. Unless something unexpected happened, he and Tony were probably both on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s priority watch list. News of two iron men fighting in the streets naturally could not be kept from S.H.I.E.L.D. By the time Obadiah attacked Tony, S.H.I.E.L.D. had likely already begun making arrangements.
As if to prove Sherlock's words, the moment he finished speaking to Pepper, the phone in his pocket rang.
