Background / History

Sherlock transmigrated into a wealthy household and spent five years studying an alchemical grimoire that arrived alongside an inexhaustible Philosopher’s Stone. Ancient One appeared on his first day in this world and repeatedly invited him to become the next Sorcerer Supreme; Sherlock consistently refused, unwilling to bind his soul to cosmic entities after death. 1 3

His attempt at forbidden Human Transmutation cost him an arm and an eye. The act also resulted in Doro, a life-form Sherlock considers his pet but treats as his child. His left eye was replaced with a prosthetic concealing the Philosopher’s Stone, while his lost arm became an alchemical mechanical limb. 1 3 4
