Wu Pifu had originally intended to disembark as soon as he confirmed that Dog Egg had reached the edge of an island—either to happily grind monsters or painfully decipher mysteries.

However, at Xu Shilan's insistence, they did not leave Dog Egg. Instead, they remained aboard for another twenty-four hours. During that time, they stayed only inside the cabin.
