Wu Pifu knew that ever since Xu Shilan and Yamadai had died, he had ventured through the Dream World alone, repeatedly pushing his Psychic Negative Backlash beyond its limits. Though he had luckily survived each time, hidden dangers had inevitably been left behind.

That danger was that he had become more pure.

Life was complex, and intelligent life even more so. Everyone had many sides. There could be no purely evil person or purely good person; even judging deeds rather than intentions did not change that. Unless someone had transcended the bounds of humanity—becoming either a demon or a saint—but then they were no longer human.

It was only when Wu Pifu had teamed up with Xu Shilan and Yamadai again that he truly noticed this problem.

He had gradually become so pure that he no longer seemed human.

But how could that do?

So Wu Pifu set some restrictions for himself. First, do not be so pure; be as relaxed as ordinary people whenever possible, have fun, make mistakes now and then, and so on. Second, kill all nonhumans. Killing evil was good; killing nonhumans was being human. Simple logic, right?
