Yet no one around him, neither the children nor the teachers, seemed to care.
The Nightmare composed itself and approached with a smile, clapping its hands. "Children, it's time for your nap. Naughty children will be taken away by the dirty thing under the bed."
"...Oh, so next is the dirty thing under the bed?"
Wu Pifu nodded silently, then his lips moved. A voice sounded beside the Nightmare's ear. "What would happen here if I killed you on the spot right now?"
The Nightmare shuddered all over, yet a cold sneer appeared on its face.
Wu Pifu said nothing further. After silently sensing the surroundings, he said, "Looks like I can't. This space restricts both you and me heavily. Once it decides we aren't human, something bad seems to happen... So you'd better not stay alone. Otherwise, killing you won't take me three seconds."
The Nightmare was certain that Wu Pifu was telling the truth. In fact, those so-called three seconds included the entire process of Wu Pifu discovering it, rushing over, killing it, moving away, pretending innocence, and so on. If they were face-to-face, it might not even survive one second.
