All fires had burned to ash; only embers remained.
This was the world remnant containing the Zanpakutō Transcendent Path that Wu Pifu had been searching for, and it was also the first gift given to him by the three nightmares.
Wu Pifu looked at the Flame-Remnant Broken Blade, while the three Ascendant Bodies remained immersed in endless imaginings and terror of the fish. That imagination and fear even made them instinctively move closer to Wu Pifu.
Because when the fish had appeared just now, that world... let it be called a world for now... had contained only the two concepts of the fish and Wu Pifu. They had not even possessed the concept of existence. This meant Wu Pifu was special. When the fish surfaced again, perhaps only Wu Pifu could save them.
