Yuwen Tuo gained the Body Sect’s support, negotiated his role in the struggle between the empires, and completed a powerful Second Awakening. After a year of cultivation, he prepared to enter the Sun Moon Empire to learn about his past and confront the Evil Soul Masters.

• Yuwen Tuo absorbed a fifty-five-thousand-year Seven-Colored Fire Phoenix Soul Ring, reached Soul King, and fought Long Aotian to a draw before the Body Sect chose them to represent it in the Soul Master Competition.
• After Shrek Academy’s funeral for Mu En and Xuan Zi, Yan Shaozhe became Sea God Pavilion Master, while Yuwen Tuo faced a court dispute over whether he should go to the Sun Moon Empire or remain tied to Heaven Dou.
• Yuwen Tuo rejected serving the Sun Moon Empire against Heavenly Soul, backed Wei Na’s bid for the throne, and agreed to help Snow Heart with his plan in exchange for time before departing.
• Snow Heart made Yuwen Tuo the focus of a year-long contest between Sun Moon and Star Luo, while Yuwen Tuo and Xiao Xiao cultivated in seclusion and advanced their strength.
• Yuwen Tuo’s Xuanyuan Sword underwent an unprecedented Gold Grade Second Awakening, raising its first Soul Ring to 100,000 years and severing the weaker Martial Soul inherited through his bloodline.
• Yuwen Tuo prepared to travel to the Sun Moon Empire, arranged covert Body Sect support, and taught Xiao Xiao the Subjugation and Transformation Art before telling Du Busi part of his master’s story.
• After rumors spread that the Sun Moon Emperor was critically ill, Jing Hongchen requested Yuwen Tuo’s return and Heaven Dou approved his departure, while Xu Jiujiu and Xu Yueran debated the emperor’s motives.

Yuwen Tuo survived an ambush on his way to the Sun Moon Empire, then secured a place in its court while secretly plotting against Xu Tianran. After gaining a Hundred-Thousand-Year Evil Eye Tyrant and killing Xu Tianran’s assassin, he publicly exposed the crown prince’s condition and delivered the assassin’s head to him.

• Xu Jiawei ordered the assassination of Yuwen Tuo, but Xu Jiujiu refused to support it, and the Body Sect helped Yuwen Tuo survive the attack on his journey west.
• Jing Hongchen brought Yuwen Tuo to the Sun Moon Empire, where Yuwen Tuo antagonized Xu Tianran and was named the Flame Prince by Xu Canglan.
• Yuwen Tuo moved into Illustrious Virtue Hall, offered to cure Meng Hongchen’s cold poison, and used coded messages to contact the Body Sect.
• Yuwen Tuo and Jin Peng entered Demon Forest, where Yuwen Tuo subdued the Evil Emperor’s son, gained its red Soul Ring, and took its skull Soul Bone for the Body Sect.
• Yuwen Tuo returned toward Mingdu alone to draw out Xu Tianran’s assassin, then used the Evil Eye Tyrant to defeat Xue Chen and killed him with the Flame Emperor Blade.
• Yuwen Tuo carried Xue Chen’s head to the palace and provoked Xu Tianran, while the emperor and Xu Tianyuan came to suspect that the crown prince was impotent.
• Yuwen Tuo revealed that Xue Chen had tried to kill him and presented Xu Tianran with the assassin’s head.

Yuwen Tuo destroyed several Holy Spirit Cult branches, killed Sleep Nightmare Douluo, and gained new powers after hunting the Evil Fire Phoenix. Promoted to Flame Prince, he returned to Mingdu, where Ju Zi confronted him over his attacks on Xu Tianran and the empire's stability.

• Yuwen Tuo presented Xue Chen’s head at court and secured an imperial decree authorizing him to hunt Evil Soul Masters, while Meng Hongchen chose to stay by his side.
• Yuwen Tuo learned Na Na’s parents’ souls had been taken by the Holy Spirit Cult, rescued them, and destroyed its branches in Mingdu and a hidden valley outside the city.
• Yuwen Tuo killed Sleep Nightmare Douluo, discovered intelligence about a Hundred-Thousand-Year Evil Fire Phoenix, and set out with Na Na to hunt it.
• Yuwen Tuo killed the Evil Fire Phoenix, absorbed its soul ring and right arm bone, and broke through to Soul Emperor after enduring its soul shock.
• Jing Hongchen confronted Na Na, but Yuwen Tuo appeared and defended her before returning to Mingdu and publicly claiming credit for Sleep Nightmare Douluo’s death.
• The Sun Moon Emperor named Yuwen Tuo the Flame Prince and ordered him to attend the Royal Soul Engineer Academy, while Meng Hongchen agreed to manage the academy team with her brother.
• Qiu’er transformed into a human and set out with Scarlet King, now calling himself Wang Cai, to find Yuwen Tuo in the Sun Moon Empire.
• Yuwen Tuo defeated Ji Juechen, bought Soul Tools at the academy auction, and told Ju Zi he would stop targeting Xu Tianran if she swore not to attack the Star Luo Empire or harm the White Tiger Duke.

Yuwen Tuo rescued Qiu'er from the Holy Spirit Cult's plot, exposed the Sun Moon Empire's collusion with Evil Soul Masters, and fled Mingdu with his allies. After recovering at the Body Sect, he set out for the Fire God’s inheritance in the Land of the Extreme North, where he rescued Ling Luochen and reached Bing'er's home.

• Yuwen Tuo brought Qiu'er to Mingdu and formed a Destiny bond with her, while the Holy Spirit Cult began plotting to seize her.
• The Sun Moon Emperor and Xu Tianyuan conspired with the Holy Spirit Cult, prompting Yuwen Tuo to denounce the empire as its forces attacked his mansion and his allies fought back.
• Yuwen Tuo’s allies defeated the attackers, and he killed Xu Tianyuan, took the emperor hostage, and escaped Mingdu after publicly exposing the empire’s collusion with Evil Soul Masters.
• Du Busi and Di Tian held off Long Xiaoyao, Ye Xishui, and Kong Deming, allowing Yuwen Tuo’s group to escape as the Ice and Snow Empresses warned him against using his mental power for three years.
• After recovering at the Body Sect, Yuwen Tuo gathered his companions and set out for the Land of the Extreme North to seek the Fire God’s inheritance.
• Yuwen Tuo rescued the injured Ling Luochen, treated her broken spine with a Ten Thousand Year Snow Lotus Torso Bone, and helped her recover enough to join the search for her companions.
• The group found the bodies of three children who had traveled with Ling Luochen, then reached an icy gorge that the Snow Empress recognized as Bing'er's home.
