Yuwen Tuo rebuilt his body, severed his ties to the empires, and grew stronger by defeating the Flame King. He led his allies to Shrek to confront the academy, where Ma Xiaotao revealed a plan to bind him through the Seal of Affection.

• Yuwen Tuo restored his body with the Xuanyuan Sword fragment, reached Diamond Fourth Awakening, and told Xu Tianran he had cut ties with the Sun Moon Imperial Family.
• Yuwen Tuo left Mingdu with his allies, resolved to absorb his Eighth Ring, and made Shrek Academy his next target.
• Shrek’s group passed Qiankun Valley of Heart’s Inquiry, while Tang San secretly planned to use Ma Xiaotao and Wang Dong’er against Yuwen Tuo.

Yuwen Tuo destroyed Shrek Academy, completed his revenge against Ma Xiaotao, and went into hiding while his companions trained. After emerging as Xuanyuan Douluo, he faced the Holy Spirit Cult’s attack on his village, where his disciples took on the intruders.

• Yuwen Tuo used Ma Xiaotao’s demonic flames to devastate Shrek Academy, killing several defenders before a lightning strike ended the battle.
• Niu Tian and the Flame Lord confronted Yuwen Tuo, then allowed him to leave with Qiu'er, Xiao Xiao, and Senior Brother.
• Ma Xiaotao apologized to Yuwen Tuo and died after giving up her soul bones, which Cao Jinxuan and Na Na buried with her.
• Xiao Xiao earned the Gilded Sword Phoenix’s approval by surviving three attacks, then received its sacrifice, two-hundred-thousand-year soul ring, and right arm bone.
• Yuwen Tuo and his companions settled in Shiwa Village, where they cultivated while Shrek’s survivors planned to join forces against him.

Yuwen Tuo and his companions advanced their divine trials, then discovered a conspiracy targeting the Sea Princess clan and defeated its attackers. After negotiating peace with the clan, Yuwen Tuo sought a soul spirit for Xiao Xiao, but the Sea Princess chose to take that role herself.

• Ye Guyi purified the Divine Coffin Douluo and his undead army, then joined the campaign to purge Evil Soul Masters while Yuwen Tuo and his companions returned to Divine Fire Purgatory.
• Yuwen Tuo, Ling Luochen, and Qiu'er passed their seventh trials and claimed divine artifacts, while Qiu'er later gained the Light Shadow Demon Spirit Galadriel as a soul spirit.
• Snow Empress appointed A Tai to guard the Land of the Extreme North, and Wei Na became a Titled Douluo after absorbing the injured Titan Snow Demon as a soul spirit.
• Yuwen Tuo and his companions learned that Evil Soul Masters and Clear Sky Sect members were hunting the Sea Princess clan, while Yan Shaozhe and Zhongli Wu conspired against Yuwen Tuo.
• The attackers captured Liya and assaulted the Sea Princess, but Yuwen Tuo arrived with his companions and Kai Ya before they could destroy the clan.

• Yuwen Tuo explained the Soul Spirit Method to the Sea Princess, who rejected both daughters volunteering and chose to become Xiao Xiao's soul spirit herself.

Xiao Xiao received the Sea Princess’s sacrifice and accepted Rong Nianbing’s offer to inherit the God of Emotion, while the Sun Moon Empire began its invasion. Yuwen Tuo defeated Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao at the Mingdou Mountain Range, then faked his death as Wei Na’s ambush trapped Ju Zi’s army in Maple Leaf Forest.

• The Sea Princess became Xiao Xiao’s soul spirit, granting her orange soul rings and a sea-blue Torso Bone, and Rong Nianbing later named Xiao Xiao his successor to the God of Emotion.
• Wei Na assembled her forces as the Holy Spirit Cult and Sun Moon Empire prepared to attack, and a Level 9 Soul Cannon strike on Star Luo’s Northwest Legion began the continental war.
• Ling Luochen defended Dai Hao’s retreat from Ye Yulin, while the Sun Moon Empire occupied the Mingdou Mountain Range and Star Luo’s border fortresses.
• Dai Hao’s allied forces attacked the Mingdou Mountain Range, where Yuwen Tuo stopped Ye Xishui’s Death God Tower beam and challenged her as Xuanyuan Douluo.
• Yuwen Tuo fought Ye Xishui through successive attacks, and Long Xiaoyao arrived to protect her before he and Ye Xishui joined forces against Yuwen Tuo.
• Qiu’er fused twelve Soul Rings into Yuwen Tuo’s Natal Soul Ring, empowering his divine attack, and Long Xiaoyao sacrificed himself to restrain Yuwen Tuo while Ye Xishui escaped.
• Yuwen Tuo survived by using all three Soul Sacrifice chances, rescued his family’s souls, and asked Xiao Xiao and Ling Luochen to spread word that he had died.
